Good growing starts
with good questions.
Our vision for X-Greens is a facility that grows fresh food through carefully managed aquaponics, raises fish, and creates opportunities for learning and community involvement.
A central part of that work is developing our own growth-cell design and the aquaponic system around it. Plant health, purposeful water delivery, and practical care are guiding that development.
These are the priorities guiding our design, not claims of performance already achieved.
01Plant and fish health
We are planning the facility around the needs of its plants and fish. Supportive growing conditions and attentive day-to-day care are priorities guiding that work.
Our starting point02Growth-cell and system development
We are developing our own growth-cell design and the aquaponic system around it. Purposeful water delivery is central to that work, alongside how each cell connects with the wider system.
In development03Thoughtful water management
We are considering how water circulates, how it is retained, and how it can be used responsibly throughout the facility. These decisions are being developed around the needs of plants, fish, and day-to-day operation.
A design priority04Practical operation and care
Observation, cleaning, maintenance, and access are part of the planning from the beginning. Our aim is a facility that supports practical, attentive care of both its living systems and its equipment.

Our vision includes opportunities to share knowledge, support learning, and contribute to the wider community. We hope the future facility can become a place where people explore aquaponics and connect with how food is grown.
